Custom Design Requests
Every plaque I sell started as somebody's idea.
If you have one of your own, a sketch on a napkin, a photo of a door you loved, a logo, a Hebrew name in a font you can't find anywhere, send it over.
I'll turn it into a layered acrylic or wood plaque, cut and assembled by hand in Brooklyn.
How it works
- Send your idea. Upload a photo, sketch, or file below. Rough is completely fine — I've worked from phone photos and pencil drawings.
- I send back a mockup. Usually within a week, along with a price. Nothing is made and nothing is charged until you say go.
- We adjust it together. Fonts, colors, layer depth, size. As many rounds as it takes to get it right.
- I make it. Cut, layered, and assembled by hand, then shipped to your door.
What I can work from
- Photos of your door, frame, or existing plaque
- Hand sketches or scribbles
- Logos, monograms, or family crests
- A font or style you've seen somewhere else
- Just a description in words, if that's all you have
What it costs
Asking costs nothing, and there is no separate design fee. Custom work is priced close to the comparable piece in the shop — the customization itself is never an add-on charge here. If your idea needs materials or a size I don't normally stock, I'll tell you exactly what that changes before you commit.
Timing
Custom pieces take a little longer than catalog orders because of the back-and-forth on the design. If you're working toward a wedding, a housewarming, or a chanukas habayis, tell me the date when you write and I'll tell you honestly whether it can be done in time.
