Shipping & Production Policy

At Custom Door Plaques, every piece is made-to-order specifically for you. Because of this, please review our production and shipping timelines carefully so you know exactly when to expect your order.

1. Production Time Once your payment is processed, your custom plaque will enter production.

  • Standard Turnaround: Our standard production time to manufacture, pack, and prepare your plaque for shipping is 24 to 48 hours.

  • Business Days: Our production facility operates Monday through Thursday. We are officially closed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and all legal and Jewish holidays. Orders placed on days we are closed will begin processing on the next available business day.

2. Digital Proofs If you request a digital proof of your design before we manufacture it, the production clock stops. We will email you the digital proof for review. Your 24-48 hour production time will only begin after we receive your official approval of the proof. If you delay approving the proof, your shipment will be delayed.

3. Shipping Carriers & Costs We ship all orders using USPS and UPS.

  • Shipping Costs: Shipping rates and delivery speeds are calculated directly by the carrier at checkout based on the weight of your order and your location.

  • Free Shipping: We offer Free Shipping on all orders over $90. The free shipping discount will be automatically applied at checkout.

4. Where We Ship Currently, we ship exclusively within the United States. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

5. Items Damaged in Transit We package our plaques very carefully, but occasionally shipping carriers mishandle boxes. If your plaque arrives damaged or broken due to transit:

  1. Contact us immediately at customdoorplaques@gmail.com.

  2. Include clear photos of the broken plaque AND the damaged shipping box.

  3. Once we review the photos, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label.

  4. Pack up the broken pieces and send them back to us.

  5. As soon as we receive the damaged item, we will immediately put a brand-new replacement plaque into production and ship it to you free of charge.

6. Lost or Stolen Packages (Porch Piracy) Custom Door Plaques is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after the shipping carrier marks them as "Delivered" to the address provided at checkout. If your tracking number shows your package was delivered but you cannot find it, please check with your neighbors or contact the carrier (USPS or UPS) directly to file a missing package claim.
